Dear Mr. Partha, Well received your feedback on the delay in the delivery of the shipment and we understand the inconvenience caused to you. We have tried all our best to ensure that the shipment is planned and executed as per your requirements . The shipment was packed as desired on 25th June and dispatched on time to ensure arrival is during mid of Aug as desired and as per your arrival date in the country. We agree that no contact by our agent PM Relocations until 17th Aug however the delay also took place in the customs clearance at destination due to unforeseen situations that are beyond our control. Below is the sequence of shipment. Dispatch of Shipment : During the week of 5th Aug Arrival of Shipment ; 12th Aug Contact made by the destination agent : 17th Aug Customs formalities started : 20th Aug (Delay in customs formalities due to non- receipt of passport and documents due to flood as per your mail attached) Strike in Customs 27th Aug to 31st Aug Completion of clearance : 8th Sept Delivery to final address : 22nd Sept ( The delivery to Thrissur, Kerala could not be planned immediately after the clearance due to the after effects of the flood in Kerala). The transit/delivery 6-7 weeks indicated is based on the transit and clearance time anticipated however your shipment was planned to meet your needs. We tried all our best to deliver the shipment as planned but situation like strike/natural calamity are unforeseen and hence the delay. Hope the above clarifies.
